Meet Jill

Jill Lawley discovered her love of pottery when she was required to take a 3 credit art class in order to finish her undergraduate degree, and she’s been in the mud ever since. Jill has a BFA in ceramics from University of Wisconsin at River Falls and her MFA from Utah State University.

She has taught pottery classes to all ages from preschoolers to graduate school students at Boise State University, the University of Iowa, UW-River Falls, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, and currently teaches at the Potter’s Center in Garden City and at Boise Mud Works in Boise.

Her ceramic work is available at Idaho Made in downtown Boise, on the Boise Bench at Lark and Larder, and at The Potter’s Center in Garden City.
